Andrea's Bio

I'm Andrea Wray, a hairstylist at First Impressions Salon in Lexington, Kentucky. I've been married for three years and been styling hair for four years. I love my profession! I'm always staying up to date with the latest trends in hair and fashion and enjoy getting to know my clients.

I started doing hair at age 15. I would get out the kitchen shears and cut my friends hair, so my pasison started young. Then I went to Kaufman Beauty Schol in 2003 and got my licencse to do what I love. I started out at a studio called Studio V in downtown Lexington. There, I spent time apprenticing under some amazing stylists that had worked in New York City, who had been in the business for many years.

After I earned my master stylist license, and after a year and a half at Studio V, joined the team of a large salon, Hair and Now. I decided a year and a half later to move to a more personalized setting, First Impressions Hair Salon. I've been on the First Impressions Team for over a year and really like it here!
